Kyle Duffy

My name is Kyle Duffy- but all my friends just call me Duffy! I am an environmental photographer who specializes in ecological preservation photography. My photos aim to both expose the harsh consequences of out current extraction-based economy and the subsequent global warming; but also to depict the beautiful scenes for which we must fight. I believe that it is each person's duty to try and protect this earth in whatever way they can- for me, that's sharing both the awe inspiring and the mundanely parasitic entity that is our current planet. I am currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia, where I am studying the application of ecological preservation to art mediums at the University of British Columbia. I live with my girlfriend and her dog, where we spend our time lounging in the Canadian sun and freezing our butts off in the Canadian winter.
